HAPPY DEMOCRACY DAY CELEBRATIONS
The Vice-Chancellor, University of Jos, Professor Seddi Sebastian Maimako heartily felicitates with members of the University of Jos Community on the occasion of the 19th Anniversary of Nigeria’s current Democratic dispensation.
As citizens of this great nation, this occasion beckons on us to reflect on our past and ponder on our present with a view to exploiting the possibilities that abound around us that will make our future greater. The task of rebuilding Nigeria is a collective responsibility. By working together and striving hard, we can achieve the dreams of the nation’s founding fathers who envisaged a proud, united and indivisible entity.
I enjoin us as members of the University community to rededicate ourselves for greater service to our nation while also contributing our quota towards making Unijos the foremost destination for the attainment of “Performance, Prosperity and Happiness”.
