WELCOME TO PLATEAU STATE OUR DEAR PRESIDENT
The Vice-Chancellor, University of Jos, Professor Seddi Sebastian Maimako, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, Staff, Students and the entire University of Jos Community, heartily joins other well-meaning citizens of Plateau State to welcome his Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, as he visits Plateau State on a two-day working visit.
Your Excellency, we are assured that with the exemplary leadership that you have provided, our dear country is surely now on the path of growth and sustainable development that will make it more prominent among the comity of nations.
It is our earnest prayer that the Almighty will continue to grant you renewed energy and vigour as you pilot the affairs of the Nigerian State to the highest level.
Similarly, The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the University community, heartily congratulates the Executive Governor of Plateau State and Captain of the Rescue Team, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Simon Bako Lalong and indeed the entire citizens of Plateau State over this historic Presidential visit to Plateau State by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari.
We are hopeful that the President’s visit will bring with it a bountiful harvest of good fortunes to the State and all its citizens.
